Cake Smash Experience

Within the calm, private setting of our purpose-built WVE Studios in Wickford, our cake smash sessions are designed to celebrate your little one’s first birthday in a fun, relaxed, and memorable way. These sessions allow plenty of time for your child to settle, explore, and enjoy the experience, creating a varied collection of joyful, expressive images that capture their personality at this special milestone.

Cake smash sessions are carefully structured to give you a full experience. We begin with clean, simple portraits of your child, followed by the cake smash itself, where curiosity, laughter, and messy moments take centre stage. Where included, sessions finish with a warm splash bath, allowing us to capture playful, natural images while your little one enjoys some well-earned fun.

Every cake smash is styled individually. We offer guidance on colours, themes, outfits, and props ahead of your session to ensure everything feels cohesive and well considered, without ever feeling overdone. The focus is always on your child and their reactions, rather than forced poses.

No two cake smash sessions are the same. We work at your child’s pace, keeping the atmosphere calm and enjoyable while allowing their personality to shine through. Our goal is to create bright, character-filled images that you will love, share, and treasure for years to come.
