From newborn portraits and growing families to milestone birthdays, celebrations, and sensitive portraits of grandparents, our photography is about capturing real moments, real relationships, and real stories.

WVE Studios is based in Wickford, Essex, in a comfortable, purpose built studio space designed to make you feel relaxed the moment you arrive. The studio is fully equipped with a changing area, makeup station, private toilet facilities, and a dedicated viewing room where you can sit back and enjoy seeing your images come to life after your session. With easy access and nearby parking, visiting us is simple and stress free.

We focus on creating a fun, natural experience so your photographs feel alive and authentic. Our sessions are designed to bring out genuine expressions and personality, not stiff or awkward poses. While we know phones capture hundreds of images every year, our goal is to create something more meaningful. Timeless, beautifully crafted artwork you will be proud to display on your walls or treasure in an album for years to come.

Newborn Photoshoots

Our newborn sessions are calm, unhurried, and completely baby-led. We allow up to three hours in the diary to ensure there is plenty of time for feeding, settling, and cuddles, although sessions often finish sooner.

We provide an extensive range of newborn outfits, wraps, and props, and the studio is set up for your comfort with comfortable seating, refreshments, and a relaxed atmosphere. Family and sibling photographs are very welcome during your session.

Family Photoshoots

Within the calm, private setting of our purpose-built WVE Studios in Wickford, we create family portraits that celebrate connection, personality, and real moments.

These sessions typically last around an hour, allowing plenty of time for outfit changes, group variations, and working at a pace that suits children and families.

Pet Portraits

As pet owners ourselves, we understand that animals are very much part of the family.

Our pet studio sessions are designed to be relaxed, enjoyable, and stress free for both you and your pet, whether that is a dog, cat, or something a little more unusual.

Cake Smash

Cake smash sessions are carefully structured to give you a full experience. We begin with clean, simple portraits of your child, followed by the cake smash itself, where curiosity, laughter, and messy moments take centre stage. Where included, sessions finish with a warm splash bath, allowing us to capture playful, natural images while your little one enjoys some well-earned fun.
